Discover Local Wildlife

History and nature go hand-in-hand in the Low Country. As you cruise through the marshes and inlets, you’ll encounter a diverse array of wildlife.

Our captains highlight wildlife sightings and explain how ecology intersects with human activity—such as how early settlers relied on oysters and marshlands for sustenance, or how certain waterways shaped trade and defense.
