Fog Bow

Fog Bow

What the heck is a fog bow? Well, they exist, and we were excited to see one today! A fog bow is the same phenomenon as a rainbow, but happens in fog instead of rain. However, because the water droplets in the fog are smaller, the colors are very weak in a fog bow.

In many cases, when the droplets are so very small, fog bows appear white and are therefore sometimes called white rainbows.

Pretty neat, huh?
