Shells & Tails on Daufuskie – A True Lowcountry Gathering
We were proud to ride along with the Daufuskie Island Community Foundation for their 2nd Annual Shells & Tails event, held this past October at the Daufuskie Island Distillery. This one-of-a-kind gathering brought folks together for a day full of clay shooting, fresh local seafood, and that laid-back island spirit we all love.
With mouthwatering eats made possible by the On Deck Diner, good company, and a whole lot of heart, this event helped raise support for the Foundation’s efforts to keep the island community thriving. From the pop of the first clay target to the last drop of Daufuskie Blueberry Lavender Vodka, Shells & Tails was the kind of day that reminds us why we love these waters and the people who call ’em home.
At Low Country Drifters, we’re all about community, connection, and the natural rhythm of the coast—so it was an honor to be part of a celebration that shares those same values.
While Captain Bryan joined other male shooters in the final round to claim victory, Steph walked away with the winning title for the women’s division.
